Pledge to EndSexual Violence
As a male, I:
- believe rape will not end until males become part of the solution
- take pride in myself as a male
- care about the females in my life
- am angry that females I know have been hurt
- understand that rape is a crime of violence against females’ bodies, well-being and rights
- recognize that males and females will not be equal until sexual violence ends
- accept my responsibility to assist in making this a safer world.

As a female, I:
- believe rape will not end until we all unite to create solutions
- take pride in myself as a female
- care about myself & others in my life
- will hold the men in my life accountable for their behavior towards women and children
- believe I have the right to make choices about my body
- know that I will not be recognized and treated as equal until sexual violence ends
- accept my responsibility to assist in making this a safer world.

I pledge to:
- Express my anger about sexual violence
- Interrupt rape jokes
- Support laws that work towards the elimination of sexual violence
- Listen to female friends’ fears and concerns for their safety
- Pay attention to cries for help
- Challenge images of violence against women in advertising, pornography, and other types of media
- Empower women to be strong and powerful
- Recognize that cooperation is power
- Interrupt my friends if or when they engage in aggressive behavior
- Support those working to end sexual violence.
