Our Services

Learn about the many programs and services that the Women and Families Center has to offer.  There are a variety of enrichment and support programs for both youths and adults, as well as some confidential services for victims of abuse and sexual assault.

Sexual Assault Crisis Services
Sexual Assault is NEVER the victim’s fault, NO MATTER what the circumstances.  We offer support services to victims of sexual violence and their loved ones.  Do not feel that you are alone and know your rights.  Use our helpful resources.  Get the facts.

Prevention
The Primary Prevention program provides education regarding sexual violence and violent crime.  The goal of the program is to dispel the often misguided beliefs surrounding these acts of violence and to change the social conditions that help to perpertuate these acts.

Before and After School Program   Our school aged child care programs operate ou of three elementary schools in the Meriden area.  We provide enriching activities which reflect national standards of education.  Children will develop social, cognitive and problem solving skills.

School Readiness Providing high quality child care and education through our School Readiness preschool program. Our curriculum fosters growth in all areas of development: cognitive, emotional, language, physical and social.
