SAIR*Corps (Support, Awareness, Information and Referral*Corps) is a service-specific AmeriCorps program that allows members opportunities to enhances their professional skills and credentials while providing services to high-risk client populations through Women and Families Center.
SAIR*Corps recruits adults of all ages and backgrounds to participate and gain invaluable hands-on experience while earning a small stipend and tuition reimbursement. AmeriCorps is a network of National Service Programs and part of the Corporation for National and Community Service. Funding for this project is made possible by the CT Commission on Community Service, in partnership with CT Department of Higher Education.

To be eligible:
Be able to commit to 1700, 900, or 450 hours of service between Sept. 07-Sept. 08
Attend and complete our certification training
Have completed your High School Diploma or GED
Be 18 years of age or older
Three commitment options available:
1700 hours of Service by September 30,2008
~35 hours/ week
$14,000 annual stipend
$4,725 educational award
900 hours of service by September 30, 2008
~18 hours/week
$3,380 annual stipend
$2,362.50 educational award
450 hours of service by September 30, 2008
~9 hours/week
$1560 stipend
$1,250.00 educational award
